Terremoto Arquata del Tronto 24/08/2016
Potrei raccontarvi di noi, cittadini di Arquata del Tronto, storie di brava gente, silenziosa quanto basta ma attenta al cambiamento, della società, dell'ambiente, dell'economia, ma questo è un tempo funesto un tempo immobile. La mia gente non è abiutuata alle pressioni mediatiche e a tutto quel che comporta l'essere visibile in questo nuovo mondo. Ci manca la routine, il saluto del vicino o dell'amico, dei rumori familiari, del tempo della raccolta dei nostri prodotti tipici, Uva, Marroni e Castagne, Noci. Oggi più che mai abbiamo bisogno di riflettere sul nostro futuro e quel che è certo, la maledizione che ci è scesa sopra è troppo grande anche per Noi. Senza l'aiuto esterno non riusciremo a rialzarci, ci sarà chi se ne andrà in luoghi meno angusti e meno soggetti ai pericolo del terremoto, ma noi pochi non potremmo sostenere il grande cambiamento in atto ora. Sembra tutto perduto, non vi è uscita all'orizzonte, almeno Voi amici di un tempo che avete scelto vite migliori in città, ricordatevi dei giorni che furono ad Arquata del Tronto, non fateci mancare la vostra vicinanza, non fate disperdere la nostra e la vostra cultura paesana o fratelli di vecchi ed allegri giochi. Non sarà la Ricostruzione il solo pensiero, ma alimentare la speranza di sopravvivere qui, della nostra terra e dei nostri Prodotti. Raccontate Voi Tutti di Arquata del Tronto e offriteci quel sostegno su cui far leva per risollevare la terra che fù.
